As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of our applications. Your role will be pivotal in driving the automation, monitoring, and optimization of our development and production environments.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test and deployment processes
• Configure and optimise CI/CD tools to streamline software delivery and ensure code quality
• Containerise applications, manage container clusters and automate deployment and scaling
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems using well know technologies and tools to track system performance, detect anomalies and respond to incidents proactively
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards to secure coding practices and vulnerability management
• Facilitate collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams
• Optimise system performance, scalability and reliability through infrastructure optimisation techniques
• Document infrastructure, processes and best practices and share knowledge with team members
• identify opportunities for automation and develop scripts, tools and workflows to automate manual flows and improve efficiency
Your Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any relevant field
• Certifications in relevant technologies and methodologies will be considered an advantage
• Cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure)
• Database (MongoDB) maintenance including investigation and implementation of scheduled upgrades
• CI/CD pipelines implementation and maintenance
• Continuous monitoring and logging (Elasticsearch, Kibana)
• Version control system (Git)
• Support scheduling (off hours)
• Containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Networking concepts and protocols, load balancing and firewalls
• Security best practices and principles
• Operating systems knowledge for system administration, troubleshooting and performance optimisation
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Ability to coordinate different teams
• Continuous learning appetite
